Perfectly situated overlooking the Malaspina Strait and Trail Islands and just a three-minute walk to Wakefield Beach.  Nestled within an enchanted forest, this self-contained, self-catered, two-bedroom plus sofa bed sanctuary offers a cozy and pristine escape. 

Inside, you will find a comfy living room with stunning views, a gas fireplace with colour ambiance, and large-screen TV with surround sound, comfy recliners, and more.

The home features a full-size kitchen—equipped with a dishwasher, stainless steel fridge, microwave, and glass-top stove—as well as a full bathroom with laundry facilities. 

With comfortable sleeping arrangements for up to seven guests, including a premium queen bed, family-friendly bunk beds and a comfy double sofa bed.  (extra cot available upon request), (Baby crib, diaper pail and baby bath available upon request) (Tents allowed upon pre-approval)

Planning a special occasion? We welcome celebrations, weddings, and milestone birthdays at Seaview Getaway. With ample space and a stunning backdrop, our property is the perfect venue for your event. Please note that all event bookings require a minimum of three to four months' notice to ensure we can provide the best possible experience for your gathering.

Pet Policy

At Seaview Getaway, we are proud animal lovers and share our property with our three resident pets: our cats, JR, Bella and Koola, and our King Shepherd, Jake. Because our pets roam the grounds to help maintain the property, we kindly ask that any guest pets are non-aggressive and well-socialized. We welcome one pet per stay for a $50 fee, and a $100 deposit, with a weight limit.  Please notify us in advance if you plan to bring your furry friend. To ensure the comfort of your pet and the integrity of our home, we require guests to bring their own pet bed, as animals are not permitted on the furniture. For the safety of everyone, pets must never be left unattended inside the home or on the property and owners are responsible for any cleaning or damages. For off-leash adventures, the beautiful Lynnwood dog park is conveniently located just one block away. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

YES  there are bears and cougars, coyotes, raccoons, eagles, all  kinds of animals roam this area, so please be bear aware.  

This 1.2 acres of spectacular property is NOT fenced in. You will enjoy all the forest wildlife on this property, however, please DO NOT feed ANY animals or leave any food or smells that will attract wildlife.

SMOKING/VAPING

To maintain our property’s pristine environment and ensure the comfort of all guests, smoking is permitted exclusively in the designated outdoor fire pit area. We kindly ask that you practice responsible disposal by utilizing the provided containers for all cigarette butts. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our grounds clean and beautiful.

OUTDOOR FIRE PIT

Enjoy cozy evenings by our outdoor fire pit. We provide firewood for purchase, ensuring you have everything needed for a perfect night under the stars. Please note that for the safety of our forest surroundings, all fires must strictly adhere to local District fire bans.

Wakefield Beach

Discover the rugged beauty of the Sunshine Coast at Wakefield Beach, located just a short 300-foot stroll from our property. While the shoreline is primarily rocky—perfect for beachcombing for driftwood and unique stones—it offers sandy stretches during low tide. We recommend sturdy footwear for exploring the tide pools, climbing the coastal rock formations, or simply settling in to watch for migrating whales. Whether you are building a beach fire (in accordance with local regulations) or waiting for an unforgettable sunset, Wakefield Beach is the quintessential spot to connect with the natural magic of our coastline.

Make the most of the beautiful coastline with our complimentary paddle boards or kayaks. 

Please note that a signed liability waiver is required prior to use.

FOREST

Explore our enchanting private forest, a whimsical playground meticulously maintained for our guests' enjoyment. Children will delight in discovering fairy-tale hideaways, secret bridges, and hidden forest paths. For the adventurous at heart, we offer a variety of outdoor activities, including forest laser tag, a kids zip line (coming soon) and games suitable for all ages. Please note that for your safety, we recommend sturdy footwear for all woodland exploration, and a liability waiver must be signed prior to participating in these activities. 

Rates

Our nightly rate is from $595.00(seasonal rates may vary), for up to four guests, with an additional charge of $50.00 per person per night for groups exceeding four. 

A security deposit of $500.00  is required for all bookings.

To keep our space accessible and welcoming for everyone, we operate on a respectful honour system:, we provide the essential comforts you need for a seamless stay and in return kindly ask that you leave the home as you found it as best as you can, we have opted out of charging a cleaning fee, trusting our guests to care for this retreat as if it were their own, and want come back yearly.

Please let us know what ferry you will be on, as we work towards getting the B&L.T. guest home ready for your arrival.  

Early check-ins are possible with approval by owners.
